     James Dalrymple Hay Stewart was born on 31 July 1853.1 He was the son of George Stewart and Mary Corrie.2 He married Elizabeth Grace Stewart, daughter of James Stewart and Sarah Georgina Dalrymple-Hay, in 1887.1 He died on 23 May 1914 at age 60.1

     Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart was born on 10 January 1774.1 He was the son of Sir John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood.2 He married Lady Frances Douglas, daughter of Hon. John Douglas and Lady Frances Lascelles, on 21 April 1804.1 He died on 7 January 1827 at age 52.1
