     Frances Douglas was the daughter of Hon. John Douglas and Lady Frances Lascelles.1 She married Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart, son of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and Anne Dashwood, on 21 April 1804.1 She died on 6 August 1833.1
     From 21 April 1804, her married name became Stewart.

     Horatio Stewart was born on 3 August 1806.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir William Stewart and Frances Douglas.2 He married Sophia Stewart, daughter of Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart and Catherine Honyman, on 29 November 1833.1 He died on 20 September 1835 at age 29.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1

Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton1

     Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton was born on 25 September 1834.1 He was the son of Horatio Stewart and Sophia Stewart.2 He married Anne Eliza Wingfield Digby, daughter of Reverend John Digby Wingfield Digby and Anne Eliza Smith, on 9 September 1858.1 He died on 6 April 1904 at age 69, without issue.1
     He was given the name of Horatio Granville Stewart at birth.1 On 7 May 1846 his name was legally changed to Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton by Royal Licence.1 He twice contested Kirkcudbright.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Donegal in 1858.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Cally and Rusko, Kirkcudbrightshire, ScotlandG.1 He lived at Killybegs, County Donegal, IrelandG.1

     Anne Eliza Wingfield Digby was the daughter of Reverend John Digby Wingfield Digby and Anne Eliza Smith.1,2 She married Horatio Granville Murray-Stewart of Broughton, son of Horatio Stewart and Sophia Stewart, on 9 September 1858.1 She died on 21 April 1919.1
     From 9 September 1858, her married name became Murray-Stewart.1
