     William Cunninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn was the son of John Cunninghame, 11th Earl of Glencairn and Hon. Isabella Erskine.1 He married Lady Henrietta Stewart, daughter of Sir Alexander Stewart, 3rd Earl of Galloway and Lady Mary Douglas.1 He died on 14 March 1733/34.1
     William Cunninghame, 12th Earl of Glencairn gained the title of 12th Earl of Glencairn.
