He was also known as Jack.² He was educated Eton, Balliol College Oxford and Harvard Business Sch.² In 1971 succeeded f.² He was Member of the European Parliament (M.E.P.) (C): Sussex E , E Sussex and Kent S 1994–99, a V-Pres Euro Parl 1992–97 in 1979.² In 1979 non-exec dir: Cope Allman plc , Oppenheimer Internat 1980–84, Low & Bonar plc 1982–95, TSB Scotland 1986–89, Pioneer Concrete Hldgs Plc 1989–99.² He lived in 2003 at Dundas Castle, S Queensferry, Edinburgh EH30 9SP, ZZZ.²

     Matilda de Prendergast is the daughter of Gerald de Prendergast and Matilda de Burgh.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Maurice fitz Maurice, son of Maurice fitz Gerald, 2nd Baron of Offaly and Juliane (?).² She married, firstly, Maurice de Rochfort.¹
     She was also known as Maud.¹

     Edmond Prendergast is the son of Jeffrey Prendergast.¹

     W/Cdr. Harold Frederick Gurney Fry was the son of B. E. Fry.¹ He married Dulciebella Joy Vereker, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Cayzer Medlicott Vereker and Dulcie Flores Elder Radcliffe, on 21 June 1948.¹ He died in 1978.¹
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹

     Major Robert Hugh Pardoe married Leila Frances Helena Bosanquet, daughter of Florian Gustavus Bosanquet, in 1973.¹
