     Major Charles Granville Vereker was born on 18 September 1869.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Prendergast Vereker and Louisa Elizabeth Mary Gosset.2 He married, firstly, Adeline Eleanor Berthon, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Porter Berthon, on 18 June 1895.1 He married, secondly, Leila Frances Helena Bosanquet, daughter of Florian Gustavus Bosanquet, on 4 November 1931.1 He died on 17 December 1947 at age 78.1
     Major Charles Granville Vereker fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery, attached to the General Staff.1

Henry Prendergast Vereker and Louisa Elizabeth Mary Gosset, on 4 November 1931.1 She married, secondly, Major Robert Hugh Pardoe in 1973.1 She died in 1993.1
     From 4 November 1931, her married name became Vereker. From 1973, her married name became Pardoe.1
