     Brownlow Hamilton North was born on 10 March 1854.1 He was the son of Brownlow John Jarvis North and Margaret Frances Byng Macdonald MacAlister.2 He married Elizabeth Martha Ryan, daughter of John Warren Ryan, on 1 December 1879.1 He died in 1886.1

     Jane Berkeley Gregg was the daughter of Charles Nathaniel Gregg.1 She married, firstly, George Dudley Guilford North, son of Brownlow Hamilton North and Elizabeth Martha Ryan, in 1921.1 She married, secondly, Austin Benedict Caston in October 1937.1 She died in 1977.1
     From 1921, her married name became North. From October 1937, her married name became Caston.1
