     Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Murray Longmore was the son of Murray Longmore.3 He married Marjorie Maitland, daughter of William James Maitland and Agnes Magdalene Neville-Grenville, on 24 April 1913.3 He died on 10 December 1970.
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Air Chief Marshal in the Royal Air Force.3
