     Baldwin Giffard was the son of Baldwin Giffard.2 He died before 1238.1
     He was enfeoffed by Oliver de Dinham of land at East and West Clifford in the Manor of Hartland, and by William de Marisco of land at Hundreswalles on Lundy Island.1 In 1215 his estates were confiscated during French invasion but subsequently restored.1

     Also held a life tenure of the Awilscombes from his cousins the GIFFARDs of Clovelly.1 He enfeoffed his brother Walter of land at Clifford.1
