     Miriam Wolcott Clapp was the daughter of Professor Edward Bull Clapp.2 She married Major Richard Stewart Dyer-Bennet, son of Frederick Stewart Hotham Dyer-Bennet and Adelaide Taylor, on 17 February 1912.1 She and Major Richard Stewart Dyer-Bennet were divorced in 1955.1 She died in 1973.1
     From 17 February 1912, her married name became Dyer-Bennet.1

     Richard Dyer-Bennet was born on 6 October 1913.1 He was the son of Major Richard Stewart Dyer-Bennet and Miriam Wolcott Clapp.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hoar Pepper in 1936.1 He and Elizabeth Hoar Pepper were divorced in 1941.1 He married, secondly, Melvene Ipcar in 1942.1 He died in 1991.1
     Richard Dyer-Bennet was a folk singer.1

     From 1936, her married name became Dyer-Bennet. Her married name became Wood.1
