     Frederick Carr Swinnerton Dyer was born on 6 March 1837.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Swinnerton Dyer, 9th Bt. and Mary Anne Clement.2 He married, firstly, Selenah Maria Ann Richards, daughter of Reverend Edward Windsor Richards, on 6 March 1861.1 He married, secondly, Frances Margaret Carr, daughter of Sir William OGle Carr, on 19 November 1868.1 He died on 12 November 1896 at age 59.1
     Frederick Carr Swinnerton Dyer fought in the Crimean War.1 He was decorated with the Order of the Medjidie.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 17th and 75th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major.1

     Major Richard Stewart Dyer-Bennet was born on 6 October 1886.1 He was the son of Frederick Stewart Hotham Dyer-Bennet and Adelaide Taylor.2 He married, firstly, Miriam Wolcott Clapp, daughter of Professor Edward Bull Clapp, on 17 February 1912.1 He married, secondly, Christina Colbert, daughter of John Colbert, in 1942.1 He and Miriam Wolcott Clapp were divorced in 1955.1 He died in 1983.1
     Major Richard Stewart Dyer-Bennet fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Leicester Regiment.1
