     Francis Hart Vicesimus Guinness was born in 1819.1 He was the son of Reverend Hosea Guinness and Jane Hart.2 He married Catherine Marianne Richardson.1 He died in 1891.1
     He was Sub-Inspector of Police between 1858 and 1862 at Canterbury, New ZealandG.1 He was Resident Magistrate between 1862 and 1871 at Ahaura, New ZealandG.1 He was Resident Magistrate between 1871 and 1891 at Ashburton, New ZealandG.1 He had four other sons, all of whom but the youngest married with issue, and two daughters, both of whom married.1
