     Owen Charles Guinness was born on 14 September 1894.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Davis Guinness and Hon. Lucy Matilda Anne Massy.2 He married Katherine Doris Smith-Ryland, daughter of William Charles Henry Alston Smith-Ryland, on 23 June 1927.1 He died on 11 December 1970 at age 76.1
