     Lady Harriet Butler was the daughter of Henry Thomas Butler, 2nd Earl of Carrick and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor.1 She married, firstly, Francis Savage on 17 September 1806.1 She married, secondly, Colonel Mathew Forde, son of Mathew Forde and Catherine Brownlow, on 1 August 1829.1 She died on 25 July 1865.1
     From 17 September 1806, her married name became Savage.1 From 1 August 1829, her married name became Forde.1

     Colonel Mathew Forde was born on 17 May 1785.2 He was the son of Mathew Forde and Catherine Brownlow.3 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Savage, daughter of Francis Savage, in 1814.1 He married, secondly, Lady Harriet Butler, daughter of Henry Thomas Butler, 2nd Earl of Carrick and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor, on 1 August 1829.1 He died on 5 August 1837 at age 52, without issue.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal North Down Militia.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1820.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Down between 1821 and 1826.1 He lived at Coolgreany, County Wexford, IrelandG.1 He lived at Seaforde, County Down, IrelandG.1
