Henry Horatio Kitchener was born on 19 October 1805.² He was the son of William Kitchener and Emma Cripps.³ He married, firstly, Frances Anne Chevallier, daughter of Reverend John Chevallier and Elizabeth Cole, on 24 July 1845.² He married, secondly, Mary Emma Green in 1866.² He died on 14 August 1894 at age 88.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 9th Foot, and13th Light Dragoons.² He lived at Cossington, Leicestershire, England.²

     Frances Emily Jane Kitchener was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Horatio Kitchener and Frances Anne Chevallier.² She married Harry Rainy Parker, son of Sir James Parker, on 24 June 1869.¹ She died on 10 February 1925.¹
