     Robert Dunbar was born in February 1670.1 He was the son of Archibald Dunbar and Elizabeth Hacket.2 He married Margaret Mackenzie, daughter of Colin Mackenzie of Pluscarden, on 27 November 1690.1 He died in September 1742 at age 72.1
     He lived at Thunderton, ScotlandG.1 He lived at Newton, ScotlandG.1

     Margaret Mackenzie is the daughter of Colin Mackenzie of Pluscarden.2 She married Robert Dunbar, son of Archibald Dunbar and Elizabeth Hacket, on 27 November 1690.1
     From 27 November 1690, her married name became Dunbar.1

Archibald Dunbar of Newton, Thunderton and Duffus1

     Archibald Dunbar of Newton, Thunderton and Duffus was born on 15 December 1693 at Morayshire, ScotlandG.2,3 He was the son of Robert Dunbar and Margaret Mackenzie.2 He married, firstly, Helen Dunbar, daughter of Archibald Dunbar and Rebecca Adamson, in 1735.2 He married, secondly, Anne Bain, daughter of Thomas Bain, in 1749 at Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.2,3 He died on 13 January 1769 at age 75 at London, EnglandG.2,3
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Dunbar, of Northfield [N.S., 1700] in 1763, de jure.1 In 1776 he was served heir.2 In 1776 he was directed by Lord Lyon to continue with the designation of Northfield.2

     Archibald Dunbar was born in 1671.1 He was the son of Archibald Dunbar and Elizabeth Hacket.2 He married, secondly, Phillis Walker.1 He married, firstly, Rebecca Adamson, daughter of Reverend James Adamson, in August 1703.1 He died on 16 April 1733, without male issue.1
     He held the office of Sheriff of Moray.1 He held the office of Provost of Elgin.1 He lived at Thunderton, ScotlandG.1 He had one other daughter by his first wife.1

     Rebecca Adamson is the daughter of Reverend James Adamson.2 She married, firstly, Robert Mackenzie before 1703.1 She married, secondly, Archibald Dunbar, son of Archibald Dunbar and Elizabeth Hacket, in August 1703.1
     From before 1703, her married name became Mackenzie.1 From August 1703, her married name became Dunbar.1
