     John Haig was born on 24 October 1802.1 He was the son of William Haig and Janet Stein.2 He married Rachel Mackerras Veitch, daughter of Hugh Veitch, on 20 August 1839.1 He died on 20 March 1878 at age 75.1
     He had another son and two more daughters.1

     Robert Haig was born on 2 August 1804.1 He was the son of William Haig and Janet Stein.2 He married Frances Alicia Moodie, daughter of Colonel unknown Moodie, on 2 November 1830.1 He died in 1861.1
     Robert Haig lived at Seggie, Fife, Scotland.1

     William Haig was born on 27 March 1835.1 He was the son of Robert Haig and Frances Alicia Moodie.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Pagan, daughter of William Pagan, on 7 January 1857.1 He married, secondly, Martha Colville, daughter of David Colville, on 25 December 1861.1 He died in 1886.1
