     Charles Houstoun-Boswall was born on 17 April 1894.1 He was the son of Alfred Houstoun-Boswall and Emmeline Charlotte Frances de Winton.2 He married Marguerite Yvonne Savage Pritchard, daughter of Herbert Pritchard, on 2 October 1935.1 He died on 24 February 1946 at age 51.1
     Charles Houstoun-Boswall fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Reserve of Officers, Royal Scots Guards.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Bahamas between 1933 and 1935.1
