     Jane Stradling was the daughter of Sir John Stradling, 1st Bt.2 She married, firstly, William Thomas, son of Edmond Thomas and Frances Catchmay.1 She married, secondly, Michael Oldisworth.1 She died circa April 1668.1 She was buried on 14 April 1668.1
     Her married name became Thomas. Her married name became Oldisworth.1

Edmond Thomas1

     Edmond Thomas was baptised on 22 November 1638.1 He was the son of William Thomas and Jane Stradling.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Sir Lewis Morgan, circa 17 June 1652.1 He married, secondly, Mary Lewis on 1 August 1671.1 He died circa May 1677.1 He was buried on 22 May 1677.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1656.1 On 10 December 1657 he was summoned to Cromwell's ‘Other House' by writ.1 He lived at Wenvoe, Glamorgan, WalesG.1

Mary Wharton was born in 1649.3 She was the daughter of Philip Wharton, 4th Baron Wharton and Jane Goodwin.1,3 A settlement for the marriage between her and William Thomas was made on 14 February 1672/73.1 She married, secondly, Sir Charles Kemeys, 3rd Bt. in 1678.1 She died from 27 March 1699 to 16 May 1699.3
     From 14 February 1672/73, her married name became Thomas. From 1678, her married name became Kemeys.1

     From 16 December 1675, her married name became Cheyne.1

William Cheyne, 2nd Viscount Newhaven1

     William Cheyne, 2nd Viscount Newhaven was born in 1667.2 He was the son of Charles Cheyne, 1st Viscount Newhaven and Lady Jane Cavendish.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of Edmond Thomas and Elizabeth Morgan, on 16 December 1675.1 He died on 14 December 1738.2
     Is commemorated in Cheyne Row.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckinghamshire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Newhaven [S., 1681] on 30 June 1698. He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire between 1712 and 1714.2 On his death, his titles became extinct.1,2
