     Jane Stradling was the daughter of Sir John Stradling, 1st Bt.² She married, firstly, William Thomas, son of Edmond Thomas and Frances Catchmay.¹ She married, secondly, Michael Oldisworth.¹ She died circa April 1668.¹ She was buried on 14 April 1668.¹
     Her married name became Thomas. Her married name became Oldisworth.¹

     Edmond Thomas was baptised on 22 November 1638.¹ He was the son of William Thomas and Jane Stradling.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Morgan, daughter of Sir Lewis Morgan, circa 17 June 1652.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Lewis on 1 August 1671.¹ He died circa May 1677.¹ He was buried on 22 May 1677.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1656.¹ On 10 December 1657 he was summoned to Cromwell's ‘Other House' by writ.¹ He lived at Wenvoe, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Sir Lewis Morgan lived at Ruperra, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Elizabeth Morgan is the daughter of Sir Lewis Morgan.² She married Edmond Thomas, son of William Thomas and Jane Stradling, circa 17 June 1652.¹
     From circa 17 June 1652, her married name became Thomas.

     William Thomas was born in 1649.² He was the son of Edmond Thomas and Elizabeth Morgan.² A settlement for the marriage between him and Hon. Mary Wharton was made on 14 February 1672/73.¹ He died on 28 April 1677.¹

     Hon. Mary Wharton was born in 1649.³ She was the daughter of Philip Wharton, 4th Baron Wharton and Jane Goodwin.^1,3 A settlement for the marriage between her and William Thomas was made on 14 February 1672/73.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Charles Kemeys, 3rd Bt. in 1678.¹ She died from 27 March 1699 to 16 May 1699.³
     From 14 February 1672/73, her married name became Thomas. From 1678, her married name became Kemeys.¹

     Sir Edmund Thomas was baptised on 20 August 1674.¹ He was the son of William Thomas and Hon. Mary Wharton.² He died circa 20 January 1692/93, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 24 January 1692/93.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1686.¹ He lived at Ruperra, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He lived at Wenvoe, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹

     Anne Thomas was born on 10 August 1675.² She was the daughter of William Thomas and Hon. Mary Wharton.² She died in 1694, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Thomas was the daughter of Edmond Thomas and Elizabeth Morgan.² She married William Cheyne, 2nd Viscount Newhaven, son of Charles Cheyne, 1st Viscount Newhaven and Lady Jane Cavendish, on 16 December 1675.¹ She died circa August 1677, without issue.¹ She was buried on 10 August 1677.¹
     From 16 December 1675, her married name became Cheyne.¹

     William Cheyne, 2nd Viscount Newhaven was born in 1667.² He was the son of Charles Cheyne, 1st Viscount Newhaven and Lady Jane Cavendish.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Thomas, daughter of Edmond Thomas and Elizabeth Morgan, on 16 December 1675.¹ He died on 14 December 1738.²
     Is commemorated in Cheyne Row.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckinghamshire.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Newhaven [S., 1681] on 30 June 1698. He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire between 1712 and 1714.² On his death, his titles became extinct.^1,2
