     Elizabeth Thomas was born circa 1630.1 She was the daughter of William Thomas and Jane Stradling.2 She married, firstly, General Edward Ludlow on 26 November 1692.1 She married, secondly, Sir John Thomas, 1st Bt., son of William Thomas and Sarah Powell, on 1 December 1694.1 She died on 8 February 1701/2.1
      From 26 November 1692, her married name became Ludlow. From 1 December 1694, her married name became Thomas. She lived at Wenvoe, Glamorgan, Wales.1

     Captain Gilbert Heathcote was born in December 1779.1 He was the son of Sir William Heathcote, 3rd Bt. and Frances Thorpe.3 He married Anne Lyell, daughter of Charles Lyell of Kinnordy and Mary Beale, in February 1809.1 He died on 20 April 1831 at age 51.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1
