     Edward Ernest Sykes was born on 24 September 1876.1 He was the son of Reverend John Heath Sykes and Frances Amelia Nind.2 He married Rosalind Clements, daughter of Eng. Commander J. Clements, in 1910.1 He died in 1950.1
     Edward Ernest Sykes fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1

     Rosalind Clements was the daughter of Eng. Commander J. Clements.1 She married, firstly, R. Fitzstubbs before 1910.1 She married, secondly, Edward Ernest Sykes, son of Reverend John Heath Sykes and Frances Amelia Nind, in 1910.1 She died on 3 March 1948.1
     From before 1910, her married name became Fitzstubbs.1 From 1910, her married name became Sykes.

     Clement Edward Heath Sykes was born on 27 September 1911.1 He is the son of Edward Ernest Sykes and Rosalind Clements.2 He married Isabel L. Parry, daughter of Robert Parry, in 1951.1
     Clement Edward Heath Sykes was Engineering Officer with British and Canadian Merchant Navies between 1932 and 1941.1 He gained the rank of Engineer Captain between 1942 and 1946 in the service of the U.S. Navy, in the South Pacific.1
