     Frederick Ledsum Munro was born on 15 October 1832.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Munro of Foulis, 9th Bt. and Amelia Browne.2 He died on 25 August 1905 at age 72.1

     Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Francis Munro was born on 19 October 1834.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Munro of Foulis, 9th Bt. and Amelia Browne.2 He married Edith Thomasine Hampton, daughter of John William Hampton, on 8 August 1865.1 He died on 19 March 1908 at age 73.1
     Lt.-Gen. Gustavus Francis Munro gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the service of the Royal Marines Light Infantry.1
