     Colonel Richard Neave was born on 9 July 1881.1 He was the son of Sheffield Henry Morier Neave and Gertrude Charlotte Margaret Alrey.2 He married Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller, daughter of Robert Miller, on 9 October 1912.1 He died on 14 December 1962 at age 81.1
     Colonel Richard Neave was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He was decorated with the award of 1914 Star.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Essex Regiment.1 He was Assistant Instrector of Musketry to the New Zealand Military Forces in 1916.1

     Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave was born on 12 June 1917.1 He was the son of Colonel Richard Neave and Helen Elizabeth Mary Miller.2 He married Philippa Elizabeth Ramsden, daughter of Lt.-Col. Vincent Basil Ramsden, on 13 September 1952.1 He died on 21 September 1995 at age 78.1
     Major Robert Morier Sheffield Neave was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England.3 He was educated at London University, London, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.3 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 13th/18th Hussars (Special Reserve).1 He was with the Colonial Service in Kenya and Cyprus between 1948 and 1956.3 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (M.R.C.V.S.).3
