     Francis William Preston was born on 30 August 1851.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Preston and Caroline Prescott.2 He married Georgina Charlotte Fellowes, daughter of James Fellowes, on 14 January 1892.1 He died on 7 November 1898 at age 47.1

     Lt.-Col. Frederick George Preston was born on 18 November 1855.1 He was the son of Thomas Edward Preston and Caroline Prescott.2 He married Marie Louise Mamo, daughter of Louis Mamo, on 14 April 1879.1 He died on 20 September 1927 at age 71.1
     Lt.-Col. Frederick George Preston gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1 He also had two sones, who both died young.1
