Bertram Pollock was born in 1863 at Wimbledon, Surrey, England.2 He was born on 6 December 1863.3 He was the son of George Frederick Pollock and Frances Diana Herbert.2 He married, secondly, Joan Florence Helen Ryder, daughter of Reverend Algernon Charles Dudley Ryder and Constance Eugenia Smith, on 11 October 1928.1 He died on 17 October 1943 at age 79 at Gissing, Norfolk, England.2
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).3 He was the Master between 1893 and 1910 at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.3 He held the office of Bishop of Norwich in 1910.2 He held the office of Chaplain-in-Ordinary to HM Edward VII.3 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1921.3
