     Colonel Edward John Astley was born on 11 June 1761.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Astley, 4th Bt. and Anne Milles.1 He married Anne Little.1 He died on 3 June 1806 at age 44, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 1st Life Guards.1

     Anne Hase was the daughter of Edward Hase.1 She married, thirdly, Reverend Horatio Dowsing.1 She married, firstly, Reverend Bernard Astley, son of Sir Edward Astley, 4th Bt. and Anne Milles, in 1787.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Mathew Jones after 1789.1 She died in 1830.1
      Her married name became Dowsing.1 From 1787, her married name became Astley.1 From after 1789, her married name became Jones.1
