Lt.-Col. Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby was born on 20 January 1911.1 He was the son of Thomas Brabazon Ponsonby and Frances May Paynter.1 He married, firstly, Merelina Bosanquet, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Tindal Ives Bosanquet, on 3 January 1941.1 He and Merelina Bosanquet were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Diana Wray Hurt in 1954.1 He died in November 2005 at age 94 at Australia.2
