Sir Richard Sutton, 4th Bt. was born on 21 October 1821.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Sutton, 2nd Bt. and Mary Elizabeth Burton. He married, firstly, Anna Houson on 18 May 1845. He married Anna Houson, daughter of Reverend H Houson, on 18 May 1845.2 He married, secondly, Harriet Anne Burton, daughter of William Fitzwilliam Burton and Mary Power, on 29 July 1851.3 He died on 2 October 1878 at age 56.3
He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Nottinghamshire.2 He was 1st Life Guards.2 He was married 2nd his cousin Harriet Anne (died 22 March 1901), daughter of William Fitzwilliam Burton, of Burton Hall, County Carlow on 29 July 1851.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Sutton, of Norwood Park, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1772] on 5 June 1873.2

Granville George Chetwynd-Stapylton and Lady Barbara Emily Maria Leeson.3 He married Dorothy Constance Ponsonby, daughter of Chambré Brabazon Ponsonby and Hon. Mary Eliza Sophia Plunkett, on 5 December 1905.1 He died on 29 May 1958 at age 84.2
