     William Shepherd Morrison, 1st Viscount Dunrossil was born on 10 August 1893.1 He was the son of John Morrison of Torinturk and Marion Grenetote.3 He married Catherine Allison Swan, daughter of Reverend William Swan, on 22 April 1924.1 He died in 1961.1
     William Shepherd Morrison, 1st Viscount Dunrossil was County Inverness (UK).1 He was Military Cross (M.C.).1 Isle of North Uist.1 He gained the title of 1st Viscount Dunrossil. He lived Vallaquie.1 He graduated from George Watson's College and Edin U Master of Arts (M.A.) ) in 1921.1 He was Captain Royal Field Artillery WW I (wounded, in 1923.1 He was Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1934.1 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1936.1 In 1959 so created 12 November.1 He was Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1959.1
