Sir Edmund Ralph Verney, 6th Bt. was born on 28 June 1950.3 He is the son of Sir Ralph Bruce Verney, 5th Bt. and Mary Vestey.2 He married Daphne Primrose Fausset-Farquhar, daughter of Colonel Hamilton Farquhar Fausset-Farquhar, in 1982.3
