     Sir Lawrence John Verney was born on 19 July 1924.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Calvert Williams Verney, 4th Bt. and Lady Rachel Catherine Bruce.2 He married Zoë Auriel Goodeve-Docker, daughter of Lt.-Col. P. G. Goodeve-Docker, on 9 September 1972.2 He died on 25 July 2014 at age 90.3

Sir Harry Calvert Williams Verney, 4th Bt. and Lady Rachel Catherine Bruce.2 She married, firstly, Julian Guy Tryon, son of Richard Tryon and Edith Campbell Watson, on 8 March 1944.2 She married, secondly, Sir Ronald Montague Joseph Harris, son of Reverend Joseph Montague Harris, on 3 October 1957.2 She died on 20 December 1986 at age 73.1
     From 8 March 1944, her married name became Tryon. From 3 October 1957, her married name became Harris.2
