     Sir Ronald Montague Joseph Harris was the son of Reverend Joseph Montague Harris.2 He married Marjorie Verney, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Harry Calvert Williams Verney, 4th Bt. and Lady Rachel Catherine Bruce, on 3 October 1957.1 He died on 22 January 1995.1
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.).2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).2 He was First Church Estates Commissioner.2
