Franz Maximilian Maloral Prinz von Thurn und Taxis was born on 2 March 1852 at Regensburg, Germany.1 He was the son of Maximilian Karl 6th Fürst von Thurn und Taxis and Mathilde Sophie Prinzessin zu Oettingen-Oettingen und Oettingen-Spielberg.1 He married Theresia Grimaud Gräfin von Orsay, daughter of Emil Grimaud Graf von Orsay and Comtesse Felicitas Festetics de Tolna, on 29 September 1883 at Pressburg.1 He died on 4 May 1897 at age 45 at Luxemburg.1
