     Sir John Archibald Radcliffe Croft, 5th Bt. was born on 27 March 1910.1 He was the son of Tom Radcliffe Croft and Louise Sales.2 He married Lucy Elizabeth Jupp, daughter of Major William Dallas Loney Jupp, on 26 September 1953.1 He died in 1990.1
     Sir John Archibald Radcliffe Croft, 5th Bt. gained the rank of Major in the service of the West Yorkshire Regiment (PWO).1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded twice.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baronet Croft, of Cowling Hall, Yorkshire [U.K., 1818] in 1979.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron da Serra da Estrella [Portugal] in 1979.1

     Lucy Elizabeth Jupp gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Auxiliary Territorial Service.1 She gained the rank of HonoraryColonel in the service of the Women's Royal Army Corps (Territorial Army).1 From 26 September 1953, her married name became Croft. She lived in 2003 at The Barn House, Rayham Road, Whitstable, Kent, England.1

     Cyril Bernard Croft was born on 6 June 1918.1 He is the son of Tom Radcliffe Croft and Louise Sales.2 He married, firstly, Sheila Maisie Cox, daughter of Henry Clark Cox, on 18 September 1957.1 He married, secondly, Anne Heather Newbatt Bessant, daughter of Howard Cormack Bessant, in 1980.1
     Cyril Bernard Croft gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the The Buffs.1 He lived in 2003 at Rayham Meadow, Whitstable, Kent, England.1
