     Dorothy Frances Hatchell was the daughter of Colonel Henry Melville Hatchell.1 She married Brigadier Roger Crofton, son of Malby Edward Crofton and Henrietta Moore, on 6 December 1921.1 She died on 8 October 1953.1
     From 6 December 1921, her married name became Crofton.1
