     Hon. Dorothy Albreda Bewicke-Copley is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Robert Calverley Alington Bewicke-Copley and Selina Frances Watson-Copley.2 She married Lt.-Col. Philip Albert Meldon, son of Sir Albert Meldon, on 26 November 1926.1
     On 15 October 1923 she was granted the rank of a baron's daughter.1 From 26 November 1926, her married name became Meldon.

     David Godfrey Bewicke-Copley, 6th Lord Cromwell was born on 29 May 1929.1 He is the son of Robert Godfrey Wolseley Bewicke-Copley, 5th Lord Cromwell and Freda Constance Cripps.2 He married Doris Vivian Penfold, daughter of Hugh de Lisle Penfold, on 16 January 1954.1 He died on 18 August 1982 at age 53, following a riding accident.1
     David Godfrey Bewicke-Copley, 6th Lord Cromwell was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the service of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1956 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He was a Government Broker.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Lord Cromwell [E., 1375] on 21 October 1966.1
