Sir Joseph William Copley, 4th Bt. was born on 27 July 1804.1 He was the son of Captain Sir Joseph Copley, 3rd Bt. and Lady Cecil Hamilton.2 He married Lady Charlotte Anderson-Pelham, daughter of Charles Pelham, 1st Earl of Yarborough, on 19 November 1831.1 He died on 3 January 1883 at age 78, without issue , when the btcy expired.1
