     Ruth Irwin Crossley was born on 17 September 1909.1 She is the daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field.2 She married, firstly, Brigadier James Michael Stewart Wardell, son of Harold Piper Wardell, on 1 July 1931.1 She and Brigadier James Michael Stewart Wardell were divorced in 1938.1 She married, secondly, Lieutenant Konstanty Scheunert on 9 November 1944.1
     From 1 July 1931, her married name became Wardell.1 From 9 November 1944, her married name became Scheunert.1

Donald Geoffrey Simmons, son of Arthur Thomas Simmons, on 2 September 1944.1 She married, secondly, Rev. Canon Frank Hay Gillingham, son of J. Gillingham, on 21 July 1950.3
     From 2 September 1944, her married name became Simmons. From 21 July 1950, her married name became Gillingham.3

     W/Cdr. Donald Geoffrey Simmons was the son of Arthur Thomas Simmons.2 He married Catherine Pamela Field Crossley, daughter of Sir Kenneth Irwin Crossley, 2nd Bt. and Florence Josephine Field, on 2 September 1944.1 He died in March 1945 at Middle East, killed in an aircraft accident.1
     W/Cdr. Donald Geoffrey Simmons gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.1

     Sir Nicholas John Crossley, 4th Bt. was born on 10 December 1962.1 He was the son of Sir Christopher John Crossley, 3rd Bt. and Carolyne Louise Sykes.2 He died on 13 April 2000 at age 37, unmarried.1
     Sir Nicholas John Crossley, 4th Bt. succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Crossley, of Glenfield, Dunham Massey, co. Chester [U.K., 1909] in 1989.1
