     Sir Bryan Cornwall succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Burford, Shropshire [feudal barony] in 1365.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1378.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Shropshire between 1378 and 1380.1
