     Thomas Knox was the son of John Knox and Elizabeth Keith.2 He married Hester Echlin, daughter of John Echlin, on 29 June 1722.1 He died on 25 March 1769.1
     Thomas Knox held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dungannon.1 He held the office of Deputy-Governor of County Tyrone.1 On 4 May 1757 his pedigree was attested by the Lord Lyon.1 He lived at Ballycruly, County Down, Ireland.1 He lived at Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 He had five other daughters, who died unmarried.1
