     Lt.-Col. Arthur Joseph Sullivan is the son of P. J. Sullivan.1 He married Dilys Myfanwy Knox, daughter of Edmund Francis Vesey Knox and Annie Elizabeth Lloyd, on 25 September 1934.1
     Lt.-Col. Arthur Joseph Sullivan gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the The Queen's Royal Regiment.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1
