     Lt.-Gen. Sir Archibald Edward Nye was the son of Charles Edward Nye.1 He married Una Sheila Colleen Knox, daughter of General Sir Harry Hugh Sidney Knox and Grace Una Storrs, on 2 May 1939.1 He died on 13 November 1967.1
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.).1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.).1 He held the office of High Commissioner to Canada.1 He was invested as a Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.).1

     Reverend James Spencer Knox was born on 26 April 1789.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. William Knox and Anne Spencer.2 He married Clara Barbara Beresford, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Beresford, on 10 September 1813.1 He died on 1 March 1862 at age 72.1
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.).1 He was the Rector at Maghera, County Derry, Ireland.1
