Alexander Young Spearman was born on 7 July 1832.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Young Spearman, 1st Bt. and Jane Campbell.1 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Bertha Bailey, daughter of Sir Joseph Bailey, 1st Bt. and Mary Ann Hopper, on 31 May 1855.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Anne Caroline Amelia Mainwaring, daughter of Edward Pellew Mainwaring and Caroline Story, on 2 April 1861.1 He died on 14 August 1865 at age 33.1
