Sir John Arnold and Bebed Mehtaud, on 11 December 1807 at England.1 He died on 1 October 1832 at age 47 at Meinipur, West Bengal, India.1
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 38th Regiment.1

     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Madras Cavalry.1
