     Benjamin Briggs Goodrich was born on 24 February 1799 at Brunswick County, Virginia, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of John Goodrich.1 He married Serena Corrothers.1 He died on 16 November 1860 at age 61.1
     In 1836 he signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.1

     Henry John Sinclair, 2nd Baron Pentland was born on 6 June 1907.1 He was the son of John Sinclair, 1st Baron Pentland and Lady Marjorie Adeline Gordon.1 He married Lucy Elisabeth Babington Smith, daughter of Sir Henry Babington Smith and Lady Elisabeth Mary Bruce, on 11 September 1941.2 He died in 1984.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Pentland, of Lyth, co. Caithness [U.K., 1909] on 11 January 1925.1 He held the office of President of Cambridge Union in 1929.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was Assistant Secretary of the Combined Produce and Resources Board between 1944 and 1945 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.G.1 He lived Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)1 On his death, his Barony became extinct.3

     Dirk Walter Bentinck was born on 1 September 1909.1 He was the son of Arthur Harold Walter Bentinck and Emma Elizabeth Kemble Hayes.2 He married Amelia Watkin, daughter of Alfred Watkin, on 2 August 1938.1 He died on 30 December 1962 at age 53.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1936.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps.1
He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (M.R.C.O.G.) in 1949.1
