     John Coppleston Luther Fane was born on 27 August 1933.1 He was the son of Francis Luther Fane and Beatrice Jane Coppleston.2 He died on 18 February 2008 at age 74 at The Churchill Hospital, unmarried.3
     John Coppleston Luther Fane was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Welsh Guards.1 He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1977.1 He lived in 2003 at The White House, North End, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.1
