     Anne Barclay Gamble was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Gamble.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Cdr. Anthony Stuart Melville-Ross in 1943.1,2 She and Lt.-Cdr. Anthony Stuart Melville-Ross were divorced in 1955.2 She married, secondly, Peter Gerard Scrope Fane, son of Gerard William Reginald Fane and Constance Rhoda Elizabeth Bacon, on 27 November 1963.1 She married, thirdly, Major Henry John Fane, son of Francis John Fane and Violet Bower, after 1977.3 She died on 3 April 2013.4
     From 1943, her married name became Melville-Ross.1 From 27 November 1963, her married name became Fane.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Anthony Stuart Melville-Ross was born on 11 November 1920 at Hastings, Sussex, England.2 He married, firstly, Anne Barclay Gamble, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Gamble, in 1943.1,2 He and Anne Barclay Gamble were divorced in 1955.2 He married, secondly, Marcia Sandberg in 1955.2 He died on 10 January 1993 at age 72 at Lewes, Sussex, England.2
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He wrote the book Blindfold, published 1978.2 He wrote the book Tightrope, published 1981.2 He wrote the book Trigger, published 1982.2
