     Hubert William Fane was born on 9 November 1878. He was the son of Captain Henry George Fane and Blanche Louisa Spencer. He married Mathilde Emilie Aloise von Adametz, daughter of Victor August Josef von Adametz, on 19 June 1911. He died on 7 November 1949 at age 70.

     Major Robert William Augustus Fane was born on 26 April 1913. He was the son of Hubert William Fane and Mathilde Emilie Aloise von Adametz.¹ He married Elinor Valerie Borthwick, daughter of Hon. William Borthwick and Ruth Margery Rigby, on 15 October 1940.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     Major Robert William Augustus Fane was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹

She was the daughter of Hubert William Fane and Mathilde Emilie Aloise von Adametz.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Frederick James Colville, son of Admiral Hon. Sir Stanley Cecil James Colville and Lady Adelaide Jane Meade, on 28 September 1938.¹ She married, secondly, Clifford John Maddocks, son of John Maddocks, on 27 December 1941.¹ She married, thirdly, Lt.-Col. John Anthony Russell Freeland, son of Colonel John Cavendish Freeland, on 8 September 1962.¹ She and Lt.-Col. John Anthony Russell Freeland were divorced in 1974.² She and Clifford John Maddocks were divorced in 1962.¹ She died on 14 January 2007 at age 89.²
     From 28 September 1938, her married name became Colville. From 27 December 1941, her married name became Maddocks. From 8 September 1962, her married name became Freeland.
