     Gillian Christine Birse is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Stuart Wilson Birse.2 She married Christopher John Godley, 4th Baron Kilbracken, son of John Raymond Godley, 3rd Baron Kilbracken and Penelope Anne Reyne, on 10 May 1969.1
     From 10 May 1969, her married name became Godley. As a result of her marriage, Gillian Christine Birse was styled as Baroness Kilbracken on 14 August 2006.
