     David Eustace Martindale Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes was born on 7 March 1916.1 He was the son of Gerard Yorke Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes and Gwendolen Gisborne.2 He died circa 1980, unmarried.1
     David Eustace Martindale Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Malayan Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.).1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1964 with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.1
