Gustavus Charles Cornwall-Dalyell of the Binns married Elizabeth Grace Dalyell, daughter of Captain Sir William Cunningham Dalyell of the Binns, 7th Bt. and Maria Sampayo, on 11 April 1861.1 He died on 22 July 1903.1

Sir James Bruce Wilkie-Dalyell of the Binns, 9th Bt. was born on 1 May 1867.1 He was the son of John Wilkie and Henriette Eleanor Bruce.2 He married Mary Marjoribanks Askew-Robertson, daughter of Watson Askew-Robertson of Pallinsburn and Ladykirk, on 6 February 1894.1 He died on 12 December 1935 at age 68, without male issue.1
He was also known as James Bruce Wilkie.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He was admitted to Royal Company Archers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berwickshire.1 In 1913 he inherited the Binns from his cousin Mrs Gustavus Cornwall-Dalyell of the Binns.1 In 1913 his name was legally changed to James Bruce Wilkie-Dalyell of the Binns.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 3rd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Borderers.1 He succeeded to the title of 9th Baronet Dalyell [N.S., 1685] on 1 July 1914, when his claim was allowed by the Privy Council.1 On his death, his baronetcy became dormant and the Binns estate passed to his daughter.1
